Refund Policy

Cancel whenever you like, keep access until the period you paid for ends, and talk to a human if something went wrong. Here is exactly what we can and cannot refund.

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to every purchase of an Extenify subscription or one-time plan and forms part of our Terms of Service. Extenify is a digital subscription service delivered immediately, with no physical goods to return.

Before you pay, we recommend using the 7-day free trial to confirm that the Service fits your workflow. The trial needs no payment method and is never converted into a charge, so there is nothing to refund for it.

2. Monthly plans

  • You can cancel a monthly plan at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal.
  • Your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that, tracking, alerts and reports pause until you pick a plan again.
  • Because access continues for the whole period, we do not issue partial-month or unused-time refunds on monthly plans.
  • If you were charged for a renewal you clearly did not intend, for example you cancelled but a renewal still went through, contact us and we will make it right.

3. Annual plans

  • Annual plans may be refunded on a pro-rated basis if you request it within 14 days of the charge date (the first charge for the plan, or a renewal). Approval is at our reasonable discretion.
  • The refunded amount is the value of the remaining full months in the term, less any transaction fees that cannot be recovered and less the value of the period already used.
  • After the 14 day window has passed, an annual term is not refundable, but you can cancel at any time to prevent the next renewal and keep access until the term ends.
  • Requests that follow a sustained period of heavy use, or that appear intended to obtain the Service without paying for it, may be declined.

4. Lifetime purchases

  • A lifetime purchase may be refunded in full if you request it within 14 days of purchase and usage has been minimal, meaning the account has not made substantial use of paid features, historical data or exports since the purchase.
  • After a refund, the lifetime entitlement is removed and tracking, alerts and reports pause until you pick a plan again.
  • Outside that window a lifetime purchase is final, since the entire value of the plan is granted up front and cannot be returned.

5. When we say yes anyway

We would rather keep a fair reputation than a disputed payment. We will normally refund, outside the rules above, where:

  • you were billed twice for the same period, or charged after a confirmed cancellation;
  • a prolonged fault on our side made the paid features unusable and we could not resolve it;
  • a payment was made without the account owner's authorisation and this is reported promptly.

We are unlikely to refund where the request relates to changes in publicly available store listing data itself, to a store removing, restricting or altering a listing, or to expectations that were not part of the plan you purchased. Our data accuracy disclaimer in the Terms of Service explains why.

6. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with:

  • the account email you subscribed with;
  • the plan and billing period, or the invoice or receipt number;
  • a short description of the reason for the request.

We aim to reply within two business days and to reach a decision within five business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Once we submit the refund, your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5 to 10 business days to post it.

7. Payment processor

Checkout, invoices, taxes, receipts and the billing portal are handled by our third-party payment processor, Polar. Refunds are issued through the processor, so its own processing times and rules also apply. Cancelling in the billing portal cancels the subscription, and it does not by itself create a refund request.

8. Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us before opening a card dispute or chargeback. Almost every billing question is resolved faster by email than by a dispute, which can take weeks to settle.

Chargebacks filed without contacting us first may lead to immediate suspension of the account, loss of paid features and any accumulated history, and recovery of the disputed amount plus processor fees. We may decline to serve accounts with a history of unfounded disputes.

9. Statutory rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under consumer law in your country, including any statutory right of withdrawal for digital services. Where such a right applies, it takes precedence over the timeframes above.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in force at the moment of your purchase is the one that applies to it. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.

11. Contact

Billing and refund questions go to [email protected]. A real person reads every message.
