Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. They set out what Extenify provides, what we ask of you, and where our responsibility ends.

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Extenify ("Extenify", "we", "us" or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Extenify website, dashboard, notifications and any related services (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organisation.

2. Description of the Service

Extenify is a monitoring and analytics tool. It collects, aggregates and presents publicly available store listing data for browser extensions and mobile applications, such as install and download counts, ratings, rating counts, reviews, version and release information, and other listing metadata. It can also send you notifications when that public information changes.

The Service is an observation layer over information that is already public. It is not a store, a publishing platform, or a substitute for the analytics or developer consoles operated by the stores themselves.

We may add, change, suspend or remove features, plans, limits or integrations at any time. Where a change materially reduces the functionality of a paid plan you are currently subscribed to, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, to create an account.
  • Accounts are created through third-party sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the identity provider account you use to authenticate.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by anyone you allow to access it.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your contact and billing details current.
  • One person or organisation per account. Sharing, reselling or sublicensing account access is not permitted unless we agree in writing.

Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to:

  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation or third-party right;
  • scrape, crawl, mirror, resell or systematically extract data from the Service, or use it to build or train a competing product or dataset;
  • probe, scan, overload, disrupt or circumvent any part of the Service, its rate limits, plan limits, authentication or billing controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • use the Service to send unsolicited messages, or to configure notification destinations you do not own or control;
  • misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or upload malicious code.

We may investigate suspected breaches and may throttle, suspend or terminate access to protect the Service, our users or third parties.

5. Subscriptions, billing and taxes

  • Plans. Paid plans are described on our pricing page. The plan you select determines your feature entitlements and usage limits.
  • Free trial. Each account may start one free trial of the Pro plan, which lasts 7 days. No payment method is required to start it, and the trial is not converted to a paid plan automatically. When it ends, the account is limited as described under Accounts without a plan until you purchase a paid plan. Paid plans are billed at checkout and then renew as described under Charges and renewals. We may email you reminders about the trial ending and the plans available. An account that has already held a paid plan is not eligible for a trial. Lifetime plans are a one-time purchase.
  • Accounts without a plan. Without a running trial or paid plan, you may set up one tracker with one extension, but tracking, alerts and reports do not run until your trial or a paid plan starts. Once a trial ends they pause until a paid plan is purchased. Data already collected is kept.
  • Payment processor. Payments, invoices, receipts and the billing portal are handled by our third-party processor, Polar. Your purchase is also subject to the processor's terms. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Charges and renewals. Recurring plans are billed in advance for each billing period and renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You authorise us and our processor to charge your selected payment method for each renewal.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from the billing settings or the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • Price changes. We may change prices. Changes apply from your next billing period, and we will give you reasonable notice beforehand so you can cancel if you disagree.
  • Taxes. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any VAT, GST, sales tax or similar amounts, which may be collected by our processor and shown on your invoice.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails we may retry it, and we may downgrade or suspend paid features until payment succeeds.
  • Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Data and accuracy disclaimer

This section is important, so please read it closely. All metrics, charts, review text, rankings, alerts, exports and other output of the Service are provided "as is" and "as available", for informational purposes only.

  • Figures are aggregated from publicly available store listing data. Public listings are frequently rounded, cached, delayed, regionally varied, or corrected after the fact by the stores themselves.
  • We make no representation or warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, continuity or fitness for any purpose of any data shown, and we do not guarantee that a notification will be delivered, delivered on time, or delivered at all.
  • Data may be unavailable, incomplete or interrupted where a listing is removed, restricted, rate limited or changed in structure.
  • You must not rely on the Service as the sole basis for financial, legal, commercial, employment or compliance decisions. Verify anything material against the official store console or listing.
  • No affiliation. Extenify is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or otherwise connected to Google, Apple, Microsoft, Mozilla, any browser vendor, any app store, any extension marketplace, or any of their subsidiaries. Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the platform a listing belongs to.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, interface, database structure, aggregated presentations, documentation and branding, is owned by Extenify or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own internal business purposes, in accordance with these Terms and your plan.

You retain any rights you already hold in content you submit, such as the listing URLs, tracker names and notification destinations you configure. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

We welcome feedback. If you send us suggestions, you agree we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Extenify and its owners, employees, contractors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, rankings, installs, data or anticipated savings, however caused and under any theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law, and nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Extenify and its owners, employees and contractors from and against any claims, demands, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others, if payment is overdue, or if we discontinue the Service.

On termination your licence to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive, including the data and accuracy disclaimer, intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law, survive termination. Data associated with a deleted account is removed in line with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law rules. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Your jurisdiction] for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Most issues are settled quickly this way.

13. General

  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages at upstream platforms, hosting providers or payment processors.

14. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to [email protected]. We aim to respond to every message within two business days.
